An involved scholar on campus who’s always building, learning, and turning ideas into real projects that make an impact.
With determination, I applied to UNC Chapel Hill, High Point University, Morehouse College, UNC Charlotte, and NCAT, receiving acceptance and over $100,000 in scholarships money. Ultimately, I chose NCAT for its full academic coverage and vibrant HBCU culture, fostering personal and cultural growth beyond racial stereotypes, aligning perfectly with my aspirations and identity
In 8th grade, I chose Lee Early College to prioritize academics over the social life I was used to and sports like basketball. Through the early college program with Central Carolina Community College (CCCC), I earned both my high school diploma and an Associate in Science degree in four years. I maintained high grades, with only one B among many A’s, while strengthening my time management and critical thinking skills, supported by mentorship from my principal, Ms. Timberlake.
Worked on an intern engineering team to deliver 3+ projects using Power Apps, Bash, and Java across the full SDLC. Improved the Impairments Document Application by fixing an attachment defect and adding dynamic role-based attributes. Built automation scripts, addressed security vulnerabilities, and collaborated with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
I conducted a study on how social media use impacts young adults’ emotional well-being, employing exploratory data analysis (EDA) and machine learning clustering techniques. I applied K-means to identify user patterns and tested Model-Based and Hierarchical Clustering to improve accuracy. I also built a custom R function to evaluate model performance and documented the methodology and findings in a 30+ page paper.
As a Computer Science Tutor at Varsity Tutors, I helped students build confidence and mastery in Java, JavaFX, coding fundamentals, and math through structured 1:1 instruction. I broke down complex topics into clear, step-by-step explanations, reinforced learning with practice problems, and tailored each session to the student’s pace and goals to drive measurable improvement.
Supported chapter operations and helped oversee committees while coordinating programs, service initiatives, and events for 20+ members. Strengthened community engagement through organized planning, clear communication, and consistent execution aligned with the chapter’s mission.
Managed chapter finances by overseeing budgeting, dues collection, and expense tracking, ensuring accurate records and supporting the successful execution of technical events and chapter initiatives.
Organized mentorship programs and workshops that connected upperclassmen with first-year students, fostering professional growth, academic success, and a stronger sense of community among participants.

I conducted a study on how social media use affects young adults’ emotional well-being, using EDA and clustering. I applied K-means and also tested Model-Based and Hierarchical Clustering to improve segmentation. I built a custom R function to evaluate clustering performance, and documented the full methodology and findings in a 30+ page research paper.
We built Hyper-Clash, a 2D fighting game in Unity. I created multiple scripts to handle combat, AI behavior, and player stats/health, and I implemented character animations to make gameplay feel smooth and responsive. We also used GitHub to push and pull updates, keeping the project organized and version-controlled. I collaborated with my team to test features, fix bugs, and refine gameplay for a better overall experience.
First Place Recipient for the Fall 2024 Hackathon. Developed the UI for PredictFi, a machine learning finance forecasting platform tailored for Goldman Sachs, featuring a dashboard, profile, financial performance, and live news updates pages. Built a Python predictive model that forecasts a company’s next-year income using previous financial data.
Built an R-based hate speech classifier on Twitter data using text preprocessing, Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency feature extraction, and logistic regression. Evaluated the model with a confusion matrix, achieving 63% accuracy and documenting results and insights in a project report.
We built a 2D survival game prototype in Unity featuring a day/night cycle, survival stats (hunger, thirst, health, temperature), resource gathering, crafting, and enemy interactions. I contributed to the life-and-death mechanics (Game Over system) and designed the in-game menus/UI to support player feedback and navigation.

Performed in the 2025 Greek Step Show at the Greensboro Coliseum. I took the initiative to co-direct scenes for our step show and also participated as a performer, helping bring the full production to life.
Supported the Mu Psi Annual Pageant by managing key behind-the-scenes operations, including paperwork, event setup, and cost/ticket handling. I played a major role in executing a successful show that sold 650+ tickets.
Co-founded The Proper Aggie Network to build a community at North Carolina A&T that promotes professional development, meaningful connections, and strong bonds among members. We host programs and events designed to support growth, networking, and student success.
